Description
Lullaby Due
Lullaby Due dates to 1968 and is credited to Luigi Massoni & 967. The bed has a wing-profile headboard marked by visible stitching and a round base that can rotate through 360 degrees in either direction.
Construction
The headboard has a steel structure with moulded polyurethane-foam padding. The base is poplar plywood with polyurethane padding, while the mattress support is multilayer wood padded in foam and covered in Poltrona Frau fabric.
Representative size
The official drawing gives overall values of 251 x 251 x 86 cm; the axes are not named on the drawing. The supplied round mattress is 220 cm wide and 20 cm high.
Story
A round bed from 1968
Lullaby Due is a 360-degree bed recalling the 1960s. Its rounded swivel base allows placement away from a wall, while the headboard's wing profile and visible stitching define the design.
Reversible rotation
A mechanism housed inside the base lets the headboard and base turn clockwise or anticlockwise through a full circle. The round mattress is supplied with the bed.
