Story

A system of modular elements

Lowseat is a seating system whose parts are simple in shape and relate dynamically to one another. Essentiality, dynamism and transformation are its guiding principles, and they tie together elements that are formally distinct. Seat and backrest are modular units that can be matched, joined and rearranged with great compositional freedom.

The armchair

The armchair dates from 2000 and is by Patricia Urquiola. Its padding is polyurethane foam on a steel frame, and a sled base of stainless steel with a round section and a 1.4 cm diameter supports it. With no load the seat stands 41 cm high, and the covers can be removed, except on leather versions.
