Story

Seats and armrests

Polyurethane foam in varied densities rests on a wood frame to make the seats of the Lowland sofa, and straps run across the seat surface. Each armrest is a moulded foam body around an internal steel frame. Patricia Urquiola designed the sofa in 2000.

Feet and covers

The base is 304 stainless steel of 1.4 cm diameter. The covers are removable, and getting them off takes a simple disassembly of the arms and back.
