Description
Overview
LOOM is a slim bookcase by Peter J. Lassen, organised as a vertical sequence of open compartments in different sizes. Its narrow footprint accommodates open storage in smaller as well as larger rooms.
Construction
Its carcass and dividers use 12 mm MDF under a lacquer finish. LOOM can hang from rails or stand on a plinth.
Specifications
The 3 cm plinth configuration measures 46.8 × 30 × 211.8 cm. LOOM is manufactured in Denmark and carries the EU Ecolabel.
Story
Vertical Storage
LOOM concentrates open storage into a footprint only 46.8 cm wide. Its compartments change proportion along the height while remaining part of one narrow bookcase.
