Story
A formal matrix
The page opens with the gesture behind the family: two inverted Y-shaped solid wooden elements that cross the piece and set both its architecture and its rhythm. The armrest grows out of these elements and is stitched twice along its edge.
One architecture, several proportions
Minotti lists an armchair, a dining armchair and a lounge little armchair that share this architecture in different proportions. The lounge version is slightly lower and is meant to feel more relaxed.
