Description

Overview

Lelong 23 by Rodolfo Dordoni extends Minotti's Scandinavian-inspired Lelong coffee table into several generous shapes, from round to an oval form. Some versions add a second top as a shelf underneath.

Construction

The frame is welded tubular metal, 20 mm and 16 mm in diameter, with an epoxy powder-coat finish and adjustable tips. A black matt HPL underpanel is attached to the structure and the feet carry protective PVC glides. The tops are 20 mm marble or ash-veneered MDF; the optional lower shelf is 6 mm aluminium.

Specifications

  • Largest single-top size: 160 × 95 × H28 cm (oval)
  • Round diameters on the drawings: 60, 90, 120 and 150 cm
  • Heights on the drawings: 28, 37 and 46 cm, and 43, 46 and 55 cm with two tops

Story

A lighter table made stronger

Minotti presents Lelong 23 as the evolution of the Lelong coffee table, keeping its airy, slender silhouette while growing into larger shapes. To carry the weight of the marble tops, the cross-section of the metal frame tubes is increased, yet stays within the lightness the collection started from.

Marble and wood tops

Minotti pairs the essential frame with Portoro, Calacatta or Nero Marquina marble, or an ash-veneered MDF top in an open-pore Licorice lacquer. The product page says the table can sit beside both voluminous pieces and minimal ones.
