Overview
Simon Legald is the designer of Klip Lamp Black, a clip-on lamp from Normann Copenhagen. Its clip fastens to a surface, the conical shade turns on a joint, and the lamp weighs 0.744 kg.
Construction
The lamp consists of a base and a conical shade in powder-coated steel, held together by a 360° turning joint so that the light can be adjusted in any given direction. The clip attaches to any surface when the small knob at the bottom is tightened, and discreet silicone pads on the clip give a soft and gentle hold. A 2 m plastic cord with a switch is fitted, in black for the black lamp.
Specifications
W10 x D12.9 x H32.5 cm (Klip Lamp Black, 605793). E14 socket for a 2W LED bulb; IP20, class II.
Story
A clip-on lamp for small spaces
Klip Lamp is made for the smaller nooks where light is much needed but space is limited. The clip fastens to a surface when a single knob is tightened, so the lamp can easily be moved around and set to the desired position.
Direct or indirect light
The turning joint between the base and the conical shade turns through 360°, which allows the lamp to change between direct and indirect light.
