Overview
In the Ketch sofa Jean-Marie Massaud draws on the nautical world: a flexible backrest like a sail stretched between two masts, carried by a simple and solid wood structure. The outdoor cushioning is described as generous and comfortable.
Construction
The solid wood frame, in black stained iroko or teak, is treated with hydro-oils. Padding of recycled PET polyester with a polyurethane insert lies below a pre-cover with a heat-sealed seam, then a removable cover in fabric.

Story
Jean-Marie Massaud, 2023
Poliform credits the Ketch sofa to Jean-Marie Massaud, 2023, and explains that he took his cue from the nautical world.
Wood treated for outdoor life
The structure is a very hard-wearing wood with hydro-oil treatment, and the cushioning is made from materials and fabrics made for the outdoors. Two widths are drawn on the dimensions tab.
