Description

Overview

Kenneth is a sideboard by Rodolfo Dordoni, built on a strong geometric volume carried by slender Black Coffee metal legs. Its unprecedented height echoes the classics of yesteryear.

Construction

The storage part is MDF boxed and joined at 45 degrees, veneered in Licorice-lacquered ash or finished in Moka gloss, under a 20 mm marble top. The legs are 25 mm tubular metal joined by 50 x 15 mm rectangular metal bars. Drawers run on full-extension Blumotion guides with a built-in handle in the lower front.

Specifications

  • Dining sideboard: 240 x 55 x H90 cm
  • Marble top: 20 mm thick, five marbles
  • Cutlery tray: black saddle-hide, 51 x 36 cm

Story

Volume and lightness

The Kenneth sideboards are designed around a strong, rigorous geometric volume and a slender support that lifts it lightly off the ground. The height echoes that of the classics of yesteryear.

Dining and living versions

Kenneth is offered in a living version with a lower storage element and a dining version with a higher storage volume, the dining version also carrying a cutlery tray in black saddle-hide. Kenneth is an essential and sculptural furnishing piece, decorative yet functional, that translates solidity and lightness into one stylistic language, under a thin marble top.
