Construction
The tops are Dedalus marble, eucalyptus veneer on honeycomb MDF with a solid maple border, or glossy lacquered MDF. Three 15 mm aluminium legs in polished Brandy finish carry the top, on black ABS glides.

Story
A keel for a table
The name Keel is, per Minotti, the English term for the steel structure along a boat's base; the table's blade supports imitate it and, according to the maker, three-dimensionally characterise the tops.
An edge cut at 45 degrees
The maker credits the original architecture of the top to the 45 degree angle at which its edge is cut, chiselled towards the bottom.
