Overview
Kabino Sideboard White is the first sideboard of the Kabino range from Normann Copenhagen, designed by Simon Legald. It has sliding doors, and the perforated holes in one of them give it an inbuilt cable outlet. The styling of the series is urban and industrial, kept minimal, and the sideboard is a piece meant for almost anywhere in the home.
Construction
Painted MDF forms the body, ash frames the front, and the sideboard stands on legs. Assembly starts from a flat pack, using the manual and tools supplied.
Specifications
114 x 42 x 61 cm (Kabino Sideboard White, 601040).
Story
A sideboard rich in details
Storage is the subject of Kabino, and on the sideboard the open handles sit in the sliding doors and the perforated holes in one door double as a cable outlet.
The first piece of the series
The introduction of this sideboard in 2013 was the starting point for the rest of Kabino. Legald later developed the minimalistic idiom further so that each piece suits a different need.
