Description

Overview

Jigger is a side table by Rodolfo Dordoni with a slender metal stand and a central stem that Minotti calls typically 1960s in style. It comes in three heights and four top diameters, with tops in Calacatta marble, brushed Dedalus marble, black pâte de verre, Moka-lacquered ash or matt-lacquered eucalyptus.

Construction

The base is a turned aluminium upright in polished Bronze varnish, with a matt black varnished metal plate at the top and black felt glides underneath. Marble tops are 20 mm thick, the pâte de verre top is 15 mm thick with a black anodised aluminium joint fitting, and the wood tops are 20 mm MDF with ash or eucalyptus veneer.

Story

A 1960s-style stem

Minotti describes Jigger as an elegant side table built on a slender metal stand, with an iconic, typically 1960s-style stem in the centre. The base is turned aluminium varnished in polished Bronze.

Tops in five materials

The maker presents the tops as exquisite materials that add a particular appeal: Calacatta marble with its delicate grey shaded effect, brushed Dedalus marble with dark veining on a grey and creamy white ground, black pâte de verre, and ash or eucalyptus veneer.
