Jeff

Overview

Jeff is a swivel low table, 120 cm in diameter, designed to resemble an oversize tray. A wide strip of Liquorice lacquered brushed larch wood, covered in saddle hide at the top and inside, hosts a lower top in Warm Grey or Black back-painted glass that sits on the base. The cavity formed by the strip is a storage space.

Construction

The structure is poplar plywood with brushed larch veneer in an open-pore Liquorice lacquer finish, with the interior and upper edge clad in Black saddle hide. The tray top is tempered back-painted glass, 6 mm thick. A matt Black lacquered MDF base carries adjustable feet and a 360° swivel movement. A Black-Nickel metal stand holds a removable mini-table of two discs joined by a central support, the upper disc 45 cm in diameter.

An oversize tray at floor level

Jeff takes the form of an oversize tray and makes a striking impression. A wide strip of larch wood in Liquorice lacquer forms the rim, with saddle hide at the top edge and inside.

A mini-table that adds a surprise

A Black-Nickel metal stand carries a removable mini-table, bringing an element of surprise to the ensemble and restoring the serving level to standard height. Two discs joined by a central support form the stand, and the upper disc is 45 cm in diameter.
