Description
Overview
The Jay Lounge ottoman is the fixed-base companion to Jean-Marie Massaud's lounge armchair. Its structure is moulded rigid polyurethane; moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding form the padded upper volume.

Finish
A four-spoke aluminium base is specified in blasted-and-burnished or polished finishes. The technical sheet lists four leather families and tone-on-tone stitching for the ottoman. Plastic floor caps sit beneath the spokes, and the covering is fixed rather than removable.
Story
Companion piece
Poltrona Frau presents the ottoman as the natural complement to Jay Lounge rather than as a reclining component. The same sculpted vocabulary is carried into a compact support with a stationary base.
Separate construction
Unlike the chair's rotating return base, the ottoman base remains fixed. Its dedicated drawing and product code distinguish it from the two armchair configurations.
