Description

Overview

Jacob is a coffee table range designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. Marble inspired the concept of accent tables with an unconventional elegance, offered in many shapes, sizes and top finishes. The round table, 120 cm in diameter, is made with a Sucupira veneer top or a backpainted glass top.

Construction

The legs are solid brushed oak with a Black finish, with a bronzed satin-finish metal plate at the upper end and a bronzed metal cap on the floor. A laminated MDF structural panel, matt black, lies under the top. Tops are 20 mm MDF (glossy lacquer or Sucupira veneer with a stained Mink finish), 20 mm marble (Bardiglio Nuvolato or Calacatta) or 12 mm backpainted tempered glass. The legs carry protective felt glides.

Specifications

  • Overall size: 120 x 120 x 28 cm (round table)
  • Legs: solid brushed oak, Black finish
  • Plates: satin-finish metal, Bronze painted finish
  • Round table tops: 12 mm backpainted tempered glass or 20 mm Sucupira veneer

Story

Marble as the starting point

Marble, a material of timeless appeal, inspired the concept of the Jacob accent tables. The tops take uncommon shapes and rest on solid brushed oak legs with a painted black finish.

Metal details and top finishes

A bronzed metal cap rests on the floor, and a plate with the same finish sits at the upper end of each leg. The tops reflect different materials: Sucupira veneer with a stained Mink finish, Calacatta or Bardiglio Nuvolato marble, and glossy lacquered Sand or Mud. The round table comes in Sucupira veneer and in backpainted glass in Teal, Granite and Sand.
