Description
Overview
Guillaume Delvigne's Intervalle occasional table has whitened-oak legs and a round MDF top in satin brun vert lacquer. Three narrow openings puncture the surface above the timber supports.
Construction
The solid-wood base is divided into vertical planes beneath the circular top. Each support aligns with one of the small slots, giving the 400 mm diameter table a different elevation from every side.
Dimensions
The occasional table measures 400 mm in diameter and 460 mm high and weighs 9 kg. Width and depth are both recorded as 400 mm for the circular top.
Story
A circular Intervalle piece
Unlike the rectangular console and wall desk, this compact member of the range uses a round surface. The three slots repeat around the top and correspond to the whitened-oak structure beneath.
Two finishes in one object
Pale timber provides the base, while satin green-brown lacquer gives the top its contrasting colour and smooth surface.
