Description

Overview

Guillaume Delvigne's Intervalle console table combines a whitened solid-oak base with a satin copper-brown lacquered MDF top. The top is long and shallow, with an opening cut through its centre.

Construction

Two oak supports rise into the central slot and are joined below by a horizontal timber rail. The lacquered surface extends beyond the base at both ends and includes a smaller recessed opening within the long cut-out.

Dimensions

The console measures 1,400 x 380 x 800 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 28 kg. These values and the selected images refer only to the console, not to the lower or round Intervalle tables.

Story

A narrow hallway format

At 380 mm deep, the console provides a long 1,400 mm surface while retaining an 800 mm working height. The copper-brown top and pale oak supports distinguish this configuration within the Intervalle range.

Open centre

The elongated aperture exposes the timber rail beneath and lets the two vertical supports appear through the top rather than ending below it.
