Story
Federica Capitani's armchair of handwoven cord
Federica Capitani, who worked for Patricia Urquiola in Milano between 2002 and 2005 before joining Marcel Wanders in Amsterdam, is credited with Imba. In the armchair tubular steel frames are wrapped with polyethylene cord, and further cord is woven onto them by hand.
Four pattern colours
Four pattern colours are given for the weave, and PVC glides are fitted to the frame. The armchair measures 78 x 96 x 102 cm (W x D x H).
