Description

Overview

Huber, a coffee table from Rodolfo Dordoni, has two changeable surfaces, round or square, that face each other above and below without ever coming into contact. The two tops interact remotely, and the frame that supports them is a simple chrome-plated metal one.

Construction

The upper top is available in four finishes: Etruscan Onyx, White veined Statuary marble and Calacatta marble, each 20 mm thick, or glossy lacquer. The lower top is 10 mm Bronze tempered glass. The structure is oval tubular metal, 33x10 mm, with a bright chrome-plated finish and protective PVC glides.

Story

Two surfaces that never touch

Huber places one surface above another, and the two face each other without coming into contact. Both surfaces are changeable, round or square, and the two tops interact remotely. Rodolfo Dordoni is the designer.

Stone, lacquer and bronze glass on chrome

The upper top can be Etruscan Onyx, White veined Statuary marble, Calacatta marble or glossy lacquer in six colours, and the lower top is tempered glass in Bronze. A bright chrome-plated frame of oval tubular metal carries both.
