Story
A changing cabinet
The datasheet says that two pivoting doors make the unit change like a chameleon: when closed, the doors show the objects through the glass and internal LED lighting, and when open they rest against the sides so the interior is fully accessible.
Display or sideboard
Molteni&C's page describes the unit as a new way to store and show everyday objects, with a balance between concealment and display. The datasheet adds that the doors come with or without wood glazing bars, which form a horizontal, asymmetric shed that shows the interior only in part, and that the unit can serve as a sideboard for the dining room or a display cabinet.
