The curved structure and drawer front are a moulded, laminated poplar panel (Populus alba) clad with sliced eucalyptus or oak. The drawer sides and bottom are laminated poplar panel clad the same way, the base is painted metal, and the upper top is either a wood-clad fibre panel or marble.
Specifications
- QCP1, all in wood: 50.6 cm wide, 38 cm deep, 50.6 cm on the vertical dimension line (not labelled on the drawing)
Story
Generous proportions
Molteni&C presents 4040 as a bedside unit with generous proportions, made of refined wood, and as a companion to the wide range of Molteni&C beds. The page says the drawers open smoothly and that the metal base sets organic warmth against a contemporary look.
One shape, two tops
The datasheet describes the unit as having two drawers with a pressure opening, offered in two variants: entirely in wood, or in wood with a marble top. The page adds that the top surface comes in an array of finishes.
