Description
Overview
Hood lamp Reading lamp is a floor-standing reading lamp by Andreas Kowalewski for Ligne Roset. It rises 1,400 mm on a steel stem to a round opal glass shade that holds the LED bulb, with a half-spherical grey glass dome above it.
Construction
The base is steel, Ø 26.5 cm. The 14 mm steel tube of the stem has a ribbed satin black epoxy lacquer finish in RAL 9005. The opal glass shade is Ø 12 cm, and the dome is made of mass-tinted transparent glass; both are mouth-blown.
Lighting and size
Lighting comes from a G9 LED bulb of 5 W, which delivers 450 lumens in warm white (2,700 K). A foot-operated switch in black sits on the textile cable, also black. H 1,400 x W 280 x D 242 mm, weight 5 kg.

A floor-standing Hood lamp
The reading lamp reaches 1,400 mm in height on a steel base of Ø 26.5 cm. Kowalewski's design is built from a steel tube stem, a round opal glass shade enclosing the bulb and a half-spherical dome of grey transparent glass above it.
Cable and switch
Its cable, in black textile, carries a foot-operated switch, also black; the bulb is a 5 W G9 LED.
