H.O Desk

Overview

The H_O Desk is a home-office desk by Claudio Silvestrin for Poltrona Frau, offered as an Executive Desk (240 cm desk, 256 cm with the drawer unit) and a President Desk (288 cm desk, 304 cm with the drawer unit). It comes in a light and a dark version.

Construction

The top is a sandwich of poplar plywood between MDF panels with thick-sliced Canaletto walnut veneer. A desk mat of saddle-leather lies on it. The leg is steel covered in saddle-leather. On the other side stands a porphyry column, with the drawer unit on the same side.

Nature and design

Slats and joints
