Overview
The H_O Cabinet (SKU 5355781) is a storage cabinet by Claudio Silvestrin for Poltrona Frau. It has four drawers in the upper part and four doors below, and the drawer fronts and doors are covered in leather.
Construction
- Structure: poplar plywood and MDF veneered with Canaletto walnut
- Compartments: four, behind the doors, equipped with inner shelves
- Fronts: Pelle Frau leather or saddle leather, smooth or square; the square version carries a hand-made tone-on-tone chessboard pattern of 16 x 16 cm squares
- Feet: metal covered with plastic, adjustable

Story
Hand-made squares
The leather of the H_O Cabinet is worked by hand, and its tactility shows in the square pattern on the vertical faces: a tone-on-tone chessboard of 16 x 16 cm squares made in an artisan process. A smooth surface is the alternative to the squares.
Two tones of saddle leather
The cabinet is offered in a light version in Saddle Tortora leather and a dark version in Saddle Caffè leather. Covering in ColorSphere leather is also possible.
