A wooden chair with a nod to the 1960s

B&B Italia dates Heri O' to 2023 and credits Monica Armani. The maker calls it seemingly elementary, combining elegance, essentiality and charm, with shapes and a key colour that hark back to the pop side of the 1960s. The chair is light in its forms and available in two heights.

HR60_B dimensions

The HR60_B drawing prints 60 cm, 62 cm and 73 cm (60 cm and 62 cm under the front and side views, 73 cm beside the front view; axes not labelled on the drawing). The HR60_A drawing prints 60 cm, 62 cm and 78 cm in the same arrangement.

Construction

The frame is a curved and joined wooden frame. The seat frame is solid wood with elastic straps, and the cushions have a foamed wooden base covered in fabric.

Heritage and O'

The product sheet explains that the name Heri O' comes from combining the word heritage with O'. Heritage refers to the clear references to the archetypes of round wooden chairs, and O', as in the Flair O' and Allure O' collections, is described as an homage to the timeless style icon Jackie O'.

Finishes and cushions

The sheet lists finishes from light and black brushed ash to glossy lacquer in different colours, combined with B&B Italia's textile collection for the seat and back cushions.
