Overview
Rondevù is a 2026 armchair by Monica Armani. Its curved back creates an intimate enclosure around the sitter.
Construction
Ash legs and backrest knobs are offered in stained or open-pore lacquered finishes. The seat uses varying-density CIRCULARREFOAM® polyurethane with recycled polyols and PET fibre; the back uses self-extinguishing polyurethane with bio-based polyols and elastic polyester fabric.
Versions
Zanotta presents model 899 as the armchair and model 898 as the vis-à-vis configuration. Both have removable fabric or leather covers.
Story
A continuous curve
Monica Armani began with a line that turns back on itself to define a sheltered place for the body. Zanotta describes the result as recognisable without becoming intrusive.
Conversation in the vis-à-vis
For model 898, two seats are set side by side and one curve meets another. The paired form is intended to support a convivial, face-to-face exchange.
