Description
Overview
The Hémicycle Armchair is the single-seat model of the Hémicycle seating by Philippe Nigro for Ligne Roset, with 8 covering materials on offer.
Construction
Two linked frames, mechanically soldered, form the back. Armrest and back structure are clad in Bultex foam, 50 kg/m3 (6.3 kPa), and 110 g/m² polyester quilting covers it. The seat structure is plywood panels, and the base is matt black lacquered metal.

This model seats one person. It is 820 mm wide and 790 mm deep, 780 mm high overall, with the seat at 400 mm.
Springs, steel mesh and edge stitching
For the seat, linked biconical steel wire spring blocks provide the suspension, and the foams are Bultex of 38 and 36 kg/m3. The back is suspended on steel mesh with a Bultex comfort layer. A 3 mm bourrelet stitch edges the armrest and back structure, 5 mm baguette stitching is on the seat, and professional removal of the covers is possible.
