Story
From a family home
The page says the shelf was originally designed in 1954 for Peter Hvidt's family home in Klampenborg, and that its undulating form mirrors the curving paths of the property's garden.
The 120 cm size
The press release gives HM15 a depth of 27 cm and a length of 120 cm, and says that size suits larger contract spaces or the display of personal objects. The shelf is fixed to the wall on brackets, as the sheet's disassembly steps show.
