Story
Designed for a small restaurant
The W58 sheet says the open structure of chrome-finished, resistance-welded steel rods was created for a small restaurant and later joined the SimonCollezione. Cassina relates it to Rationalism.
Takahama, 1974, redeveloped
On the W58 sheet the designer line is Kazuhide Takahama with 1974, a year the page repeats under production. The chair has since been redeveloped, with a thermoformed seat, an elastic-strap backrest, a zip-off wadding cover and new frame finishes.
