Story

The Fumoir group

Poltrona Frau's product sheet dates the first production of the Fumoir collection to 1929, after Renzo Frau's death. Savina Pisati Frau was responsible for developing it into one of the early products she brought forward.

A reduced-volume seat

The sheet distinguishes Fumoir by removing a separate seat cushion and reducing the overall volume. The armchair retains traditional springing, horsehair padding and applied upholstery details in its compact single-seat form.
