Description
Overview
Florida is Rodolfo Dordoni's outdoor seating system built from soft upholstered volumes. Its programme combines fixed sofa and one-arm elements with large ottomans that can receive movable backrests.
Construction
The metal frame is sandblasted, e-coated and covered in flexible cold-formed polyurethane foam. Lightweight channelled fibre sits inside a breathable water-resistant casing, with outdoor eco-leather piping at the edges.
Supports
Back and arm supports are offered in protected solid iroko or kiln-dried natural teak. A personalised aluminium frog fastener connects the upholstered parts to these wooden supports.
Story
Moving the Backrest
Florida's evolution centres on a removable back that can be placed on a large ottoman. This component supports opposing arrangements and changes the system's composition.
