Story

Tops that can be moved

For the Floe series Daisuke Kitagawa set out to revolutionize the idea of the living room table by making it more functional and extremely customizable. The tops are smoky grey or black and white back-painted glass, and users can position them freely to reorganize the spaces according to their needs.

Mass of floating ice

Cappellini gives the literal meaning of the name as a mass of floating ice, and describes the glass tops and their reflections in the mirror base as if floating like the ice of an iceberg in the ocean. The page also says the squared metal tube frame in chromed finish and the mirror base convey extreme visual lightness.
