Description
Overview
Elephant Ottoman is a pouf by Karen Chekerdjian, solid and compact in its proportions. It takes the strong, reassuring forms of its namesake: a stable and composed presence on four firmly grounded legs, with a generous surface designed to offer comfort in a gesture of elegant welcome.
Construction
Stained solid ash wood forms the outer structure, and feather padding sits beneath a cover that combines load-bearing leather with leather. Two stains are listed for the wood.
Specifications
62 x 50 x 36.5 cm (W x D x H, 0ELPPF057).
Story
A pouf that echoes an elephant
The pouf mirrors the weight and calm of the animal it is named for. Four legs stand firmly on the ground and a wide top surface offers comfort as a gesture of welcome.
Sculptural and artisanal
Elephant Ottoman is conceived as a natural extension of the Elephant armchair, sharing its sculptural aesthetic and artisanal excellence. A turned solid wood base and a hand-crafted leather surface make it a refined accessory designed to stand the test of time.
