Overview
Edge Coffee Table Large Travertine is a minimalistic table in which the material is the main focus, from Normann Copenhagen by the designer Simon Legald. The table consists solely of square travertine slabs in different sizes, set out in a clean geometric form.
Construction
The table is made of 100% travertine, assembled from slabs in a simple, geometric construction. It comes flat-packed and goes together without screws or tools.

Story
Designed around how travertine is sourced
Travertine is quarried and cut into slabs of different sizes. Edge is built to use those slabs as they come, so that the table consists entirely of square slabs in varying sizes and makes the most of the material.
Shadows from a simple construction
The geometric construction of the table casts intriguing shadows and gives the design a dynamic expression. Its minimalistic, clean lines sit against the organic look of the natural stone.
