Story
Devised in 1956
The duo Hvidt & Mølgaard devised Drop Leaf in 1956 to make a flexible piece fitting its setting. The instruction manual repeats that the table was designed in 1956.
Folding sides
As the name suggests, the table was built with a hinged section on each side that folds down from the fixed centre. Per the manual, lifting a side top and pulling its two legs towards the centre until they click fixes the legs and the top.
