Description
Overview
Drake Dining Outdoor transfers the line and joint pattern of Hannes Peer's indoor coffee-table family to a long dining format. Three lengths share a 104 cm depth.
Construction
The slatted top is offered in natural solid teak or kiln-fired lava stone with recycled coloured glass dust. Teak or matt-painted aluminium legs contain stainless-steel reinforcement, and Bronze-finished aluminium feet meet ribbed-rubber glides.
Specifications
The representative largest version measures 359.5 x 104 x H74.5 cm; shorter widths are 269.5 and 314.5 cm.
Story
Lines and joints
The outdoor dining table develops the Drake coffee-table family's shaped slat edges. Repeated divisions across the long surface produce the rhythmic, textural effect described by Minotti.
Two material routes
Natural teak can continue from the top into solid timber legs. Alternatively, the top uses coloured lava stone and recycled glass, while matt Ecru or Dark Brown aluminium forms the supports.
