Construction

• Base: die-cast aluminium, five spokes, with a 360° rotation and height adjustment mechanism
• Undershell cover: thermoformed ABS, covered in leather to match the shell or left in embossed ABS
• Supports: soft or hard self-braking swivel wheels, or revolving glides

A conference chair that turns and tilts

The page calls this one the 360° chair and says it sits on a five-spoke base. The sheet gives it a gas spring for the seat height and a rocking mechanism that tilts the backrest and the seat together; the swing can be limited and its strength adjusted, so the chair follows the changes of posture of the person in it.

Wheels or glides

Three kinds of support are named. Soft self-braking swivel wheels are the ones the sheet recommends for granite, ceramic, marble, wood and linoleum; hard wheels are for wall-to-wall carpet and rugs; revolving glides with teflon caps suit every surface.
