Overview
Dim Linear Lamp EU Brushed Aluminum is a horizontal pendant by R S W (Rudolph Schelling Webermann) for Normann Copenhagen. It carries LED light strips above and below an aluminum panel, and its brightness and color temperature are set with knobs at both ends or with a remote control.
Construction
The pendant comprises an aluminum panel with two LED light strips, one above and one below. It is attached to the ceiling by two steel wires, one electric cord and a steel canopy. Aluminum knobs at each end of the panel control the light, and a single remote control can be matched to several lights. The lamp weighs 3.7 kg.

Story
A pendant for a table that does more than serve meals
R S W started from the changing role of the dining table, which has become a gathering spot for many activities as well as meals. The Dim Linear Lamp answers with one pendant that can give both focused and ambient light.
Presented in 2023
Normann Copenhagen unveiled the lamp in July 2023. The aluminum knobs are built into the design as a decorative detail and also serve as the controls, and light travels both upwards and downwards to highlight the ceiling.
