Two stool versions
The Devon line includes a bar stool with lumbar support and a backless version. The backed DSG2 drawing gives 49, 53 and 84 cm as the principal values; the axes are not labelled. DSG1 is shown separately at 44 by 44 cm with a 69 cm vertical value.
Structure and upholstery
Molteni&C specifies solid stained wood for the frame, with non-slip plastic feet. The seat combines a solid-fir and chipboard internal frame, elastic straps, variable-density high-resistance polyurethane foam and bonded velveteen. On the backed stool, a Polimex internal back structure receives the same class of foam and lining. The manufacturer offers fabric or leather covers selected from the Molteni&C range.
Story
The stool within Devon
Molteni&C describes Devon as a seating family of chairs, tub armchairs and two stool forms. The stool transfers the line's solid stained-wood structure to counter-height seating, with the supported and backless models documented under separate codes.
Dordoni's role
Rodolfo Dordoni is credited for Devon throughout the product page and official sheet. The stool page focuses on how its two versions extend the established group rather than presenting a separate origin story for this type.
