Story

From table to desk

In the page's account the desk grows out of the Daystak Table through an added drawer box with dovetail joints on show. Buying the box separately and choosing a side for it are both allowed.

Robin Day

The page credits the desk to Robin Day, who grew up in the furniture-making town of High Wycombe and worked as an exhibition designer before becoming a prolific furniture designer. It says the desk highlights his skill for blending form with utility.
