Description
Overview
Cuadra-Soft is a sofa by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, from 2025. Clean lines and generous volumes reinterpret the classic idea of sitting, and a soft padded seam outlines the arms and seats like a continuous graphic sign.
Construction
Seat cushions are flexible polyurethane in differentiated densities with recycled polyester fibre, over a powder-coated tubular steel frame with elastic webbing. The backrest and armrests have a steel frame with elastic webbing, a polyurethane cap of differentiated density and a quilted layer padded with recycled polyester fibre. The feet are fixed to the seat frame in varnished solid ash, with a lacquered beech version. The covers are fully removable.

Story
Comfort and design
Comfort and design meet in Cuadra-Soft, a sofa that gives the classic idea of sitting a contemporary reading. Full shapes invite relaxation, and the composition is precise and harmonious. Structure and softness, functionality and elegance are held in balance.
Seam and legs
A soft padded seam outlines the arms and the seats like a continuous graphic sign, defining the volumes without rigidity. The angled legs lighten the structure, add movement and break the symmetry. Patricia Urquiola designed the sofa in 2025.
