Description
Overview
Cover is Marie C Dorner's two-seat medium sofa for Ligne Roset. Its outer cover is draped over the foam structure like a throw and secured by toggles behind the seat.
Construction
The structure uses high-resilience Bultex foam with polyether foam and moulded-foam armrest cores. Black polypropylene gliders support the base. The removable outer layer sandwiches 300 g/m² polyester quilting, and its stitched V motifs become denser toward the middle.
Dimensions
The medium sofa measures 1,800 x 1,100 x 790 mm (W x D x H), with a 440 mm seat height. It weighs 61 kg and includes a 400 x 400 mm feather-filled cushion.
Story
A cover that defines the sofa
The Cover medium sofa separates its foam base from a draped outer layer. Toggles at the rear hold that layer in position, while its stitching follows the back and armrests in progressive V-shaped motifs. Ligne Roset allows the base and cover to be ordered in two colours or two materials.
Foam comfort
Two specified densities of high-resilience Bultex foam are combined with two polyether foam grades. The armrest cores are moulded foam. A matching feather-filled cushion is supplied with the two-seat sofa.
