Description
Overview
The Cover Bar Stool is the 75 cm bar-height piece of the Cover family. Thomas Bentzen gave it the Cover family's curved backrest, which folds around the back legs, in a tall, enveloping shape.
Construction
- Oak veneer back and seat on a solid oak frame, made using FSC-certified wood
- Water-based lacquer, plastic glides; footrest protector in tumbled stainless steel mentioned

Story
A bar seat that feels like a chair
Bentzen's story "Contrasting Comfort" calls the stool the newest addition to the Cover family, built on the back of the Cover Armchair, and says he wanted a bar seat that feels more like a chair at the bar than a stool.
Back and frame
He describes the tension between solid wood and moulded plywood and a small dip in the back that lets the sitter sink deeper into the seat.
