Corallo
Edra describes Corallo as a coral-like nest with an irregular wide seat. The form is made by hand-bending stainless-steel wire and weaving it into the seat, a process that makes each piece unique. Hundreds of welds are cleaned, brushed and rounded to avoid sharp edges and roughness. Edra says this complex artistic craft requires an entire week of work for each individual piece. The official page states that Corallo is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Story
A hand-shaped steel nest
Corallo is defined by the labor visible in its irregular woven structure. The stainless-steel wire is bent and woven by hand, while the welds receive careful finishing to make the surface safe to touch. Fernando e Humberto Campana are credited by Edra. The product page frames the piece as both furniture and artistic craftsmanship for indoor or outdoor settings.
