Overview
Coil Lamp Ø110 x H56,5 is a pendant by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen. The idea is to create as much volume as possible with as little material as possible, in a rounded rectangle shape formed by curved stainless-steel wires.
Construction
The lamp is made of stainless steel wires, and the air between them makes the design look light and airy despite its volume. It is delivered assembled with a 4 m white textile cord and a white canopy.

Coil is built on the idea of making air as important to the design as the material itself. Curved stainless-steel wires loop into a rounded rectangle shape, a form pictured as a fountain of metal looping its existence.

Simon Legald designed Coil in 2022, and Normann Copenhagen presented the lamp collection in June 2022 as a pendant that becomes an aesthetic focal point in any setting.
