Overview
The Cesca Stool takes Marcel Breuer's cantilevered Cesca Chair up to counter height (51CM) and bar height (51CH). It keeps the single bent steel tube of the chair, offers cane or upholstery for the seat and back, and adds a footrest.

- Frame bent from a seamless steel tube one inch across, polished chrome or ultra-matte powder-coated
- A footrest rail runs between the cantilevered legs
- Black plastic anti-tip glides at the front; Knoll stamps its logo and Breuer's signature on the frame
Specifications

Story
Taking the chair to new heights
Knoll's page says the stool was made in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, when the company took the Cesca Chair "to new heights", meaning bar and counter height. The shop adds a footrest as a comfort feature of the taller form and lists the piece among counter and barstools.

Counter height and bar height
The stool comes in a counter-height and a bar-height version, with a polished chrome or an ultra-matte powder-coated frame, and Knoll's price list shows black plastic anti-tip glides at the front of the frame.
