Overview
Canvas Wall is Herman Miller's space divider and power and data distributor within Canvas Office Landscape, built from frames that hold tiles in a range of heights.
Construction
The frame holds tiles on both sides and has an open base with tapered feet, base covers or no base. Tiles come in painted metal, wood veneer, laminate or fabric, with tackable options, and power and data can be routed every 11 in of frame height.
Specifications
The frame FT110. is available 18 to 48 in wide and 35 to 79 in high; the price book drawing prints it as 2 in thick.
Story
Boundaries in an open plan
The product page presents Canvas Wall as a way of creating boundaries in an open plan, with wall heights that keep things open or give privacy and screens that are transparent for visual access or solid to indicate boundary.
Power where it is needed
Access points can be placed above or below the work surface, at the base of a frame, or every 11 in, and the sheet says power and data can also run horizontally through connecting frames.
