Overview
The Camma Dining table is a Carrara marble table designed by Marie C Dorner for Ligne Roset. Its three legs are placed in the centre of the table in an offset position, and the table seats 10 to 12 people.
Construction
The top is open-centred Carrara marble, 3 cm thick, with a honed finish and an oil and water-repellent treatment. An alveolar aluminium panel reinforces the top. Three independent solid marble legs are located by 6 metal cones, and protective felt gliders are fitted.
Specifications
Length 2,400 mm, width 1,300 mm, height 740 mm; weight 423 kg.
Story
Named after a figure from mythology
The Camma table is named after a beautiful and brave woman from mythology, and its design inspires serenity and generosity.
Three monolithic legs and a very large top
Three monolithic but voluptuous legs and a very large top suggest epicurean pleasures. The legs are solid marble, and the Carrara marble is of Italian origin.
