Calder Bronze console

Overview

Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Calder "Bronze" console for Minotti. A 20 mm top rests on a metal structure with a Bronze satin finish, and a lower shelf is made to match.

Construction

The structure is satin metal of 10 x 10 mm section, Bronze varnished, and a 2 mm lower shelf that takes the same Bronze finish; protective felt glides complete it. The top is 20 mm thick in one of five versions: Sand glossy lacquered MDF, Sucupira veneer stained Mink on MDF, composite ebony veneer with a matt open-pore finish on MDF, Bardiglio Nuvolato marble or Calacatta marble. Some consoles have drawers finished inside and out in Sucupira veneer stained Mink or in matt open-pore composite ebony veneer.

Bronze on a slender structure

Calder "Bronze" gives the console table a structure of satin metal, only 10 x 10 mm in section, varnished Bronze. The lower shelf is 2 mm thick and carries the same colour.

Five tops and drawers

The 20 mm top is offered in lacquer, wood veneer or marble. Some consoles are fitted with drawers whose inside and outside are veneered in Sucupira stained Mink or in composite ebony.
