Description

Overview

Calder "Bronze" is a coffee table series by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. A set of new finishes gives the Calder family a fresh, contemporary appeal: the slender structure is satin metal in a Bronze colour, and the tops are offered in lacquer, wood veneer and marble.

Construction

The structure is satin metal, 10 x 10 mm, Bronze colour varnished, with a 2 mm lower shelf in the same finish. The upper top is 20 mm MDF in glossy lacquered Sand, Sucupira veneer in a Mink stain, or composite ebony veneer with a glossy transparent polyester finish, or 20 mm marble in Bardiglio Nuvolato or Calacatta. The tables stand on black ribbed rubber protective glides.

Specifications

  • Height: 27 cm (round coffee tables)
  • Structure: satin metal 10 x 10 mm, Bronze colour varnished
  • Lower shelf: 2 mm, same finish as the structure
  • Top: 20 mm MDF (lacquer or veneer) or 20 mm marble

Story

New finishes for the Calder family

The Bronze series adds new finishes to the Calder family of coffee tables. The slender structure now comes in a Bronze satin finish, and the under shelf is satin metal painted in the same Bronze.

Lacquer, wood and marble tops

New top versions sit on that structure: glossy lacquered Sand, Sucupira veneer stained in a Mink colour, and Bardiglio Nuvolato or Calacatta marble. Marble, wood and bronzed metal interact smoothly in these minimalist coffee tables.
